Standing up to Domestic Violence
On Wednesday 29th November R.E.A.L. Education stood up to domestic violence.
Staff and learners wore orange for £1 and fundraising activities such as bake sales, quizzes and spongings took place across R.E.A.L. throughout the day in aid of the White Ribbon Campaign (www.whiteribbon.org.uk).
Fay Hunter, R.E.A.L. Wellbeing Lead, who organised the day said: “Everyone pulled together to raise awareness and money for this really important cause. A special mention must go to Brian Smith who volunteered for a soaking! We raised an amazing £100 in total – well done everyone!”
