100 Mile R.E.A.L. Challenge for Children in Need
On Friday 17th November, staff and learners from across R.E.A.L. Education braved the cold weather to walk a mile (in their pyjamas!) for Children in Need.
With a collaborative target of 100 miles, learners walked out of their usual learning environments and into the fresh air for this brilliant cause.
Sian Bullen, R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision School Lead for Curriculum, coordinated the fundraising initiative. Sian said: “ I was really impressed with the amount of learners that took part – one learner usually refuses to do any exercise at all, and they walked two miles!
“In total there was an amazing 105 miles walked for Children in Need! This is a fantastic achievement and everyone at R.E.A.L. should be very proud.”
