The R.E.A.L. Adventure Continues!
R.E.A.L. Adventure are delighted to have been granted a new licence to operate adventurous activities that spans the next three years.
Zac Holland, Group Provision Manager for R.E.A.L. Adventure said: “An inspector from the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority (AALA) went through our risk assessments and lesson plans. He was very impressed with what we deliver, and said he would be recommending our style of risk assessments to other providers. The inspector was also impressed with our health and safety procedures at R.E.A.L. Adventure.”
The recent inspection is a fantastic confirmation of R.E.A.L. Adventure’s approach to operating its brilliant activities – of which the list of activities offered continues to expand!
R.E.A.L. Adventure’s new activities include power kiting and archery. In power kiting, participants learn to fly large power kites, and can also to learn to fly them in order to drive a power kite buggy (which is great fun!). Archery has also started to take place at Kings Mill Way, Mansfield. Some lucky learners have already had a go at the activity and all really enjoyed it.
Due to its qualifications and experience in delivering caving and mine exploration, R.E.A.L. Adventure has also recently been given access to two new mines in the Matlock area. This means lots more exciting exploring to come!
