Safer Internet Day 2019

Tuesday 5th February marked ‘Safer Internet Day.’

At R.E.A.L., our aim is that our young people live a safe digital life, harnessing the great opportunities which technology brings us whilst feeling empowered to make good choices to stay safe with technology. We want our learners to work thoughtfully in a safe environment both whilst in our care and away from our care.

R.E.A.L. Education has an eSafety group that meets regularly throughout the year. The group owns, monitors and coordinates the delivery of improvements in eSafety. A cross section of staff and key leaders represent all areas of R.E.A.L. Education in the eSafety group.

As part of our eSafety work, focussed activities, resources and projects will take place in February to highlight the importance of responsible use of ICT.
