R.E.A.L. Creative Digital Steps Up

In response to the Coronavirus crisis, the R.E.A.L. Creative Digital team have been utilising their specialist skills and equipment to help in any way they can.

The Creative Digital staff team and learners have been involved in the generation of social media materials that offer discounts to NHS staff and key workers. They are also speaking to City Hospital in Nottingham about producing a range of materials for the ward walls, to raise the spirits of people who are currently hospital bound.

The NHS has been a client of R.E.A.L. Creative Digital since the department’s inception in 2014. As well as working with the NHS commercially, the team have always been keen to support and assist where they can – which is especially important at this particular time.

Creative Digital are also supporting brave, frontline, healthcare professionals by continuing to display ongoing supportive signage on the department’s LED screens that face onto the A60 in Mansfield.

The Creative Digital team are also working closely with companies such as Weather-Tech Ltd, Premiere 24/7 Security, Platinum K9, Tiger Assemblies and Portland College to continue to support key workers and the community in general during the Coronavirus lockdown.

As well as looking to support the general community and key workers, the team are also working hard to support R.E.A.L.’s young people by producing ongoing remote learning materials, video tutorials and also keeping in touch with those who are most vulnerable.

Neil Kellow, Lead Teacher of Creative Digital at R.E.A.L. Education said: “As an organisation, R.E.A.L. has been commended by commissioners for the ongoing ‘over and above’ approach to the services which we continue to provide to young people.

“Our team has a key role at this time to use our skills and specialist equipment to the best of our abilities, and we will continue to help as much as we can throughout this difficult time.”
